Russiella Truncata

Earrings with white gold nature casts of a now-extinct type of fossilised brachiopoda (Russiella truncata) that lived in Siberia ca. 530 million years ago. The predator-like teeth formed by upper and lower valve are spring-loaded to recreate their natural functionality. A chain mail of interlinked loops set with diamond briolettes leads to the upper section developed in the style of a contemporary scallop shell. One of a kind.
